The Ember Mission Team is sent out in the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with all people and to work with them as individuals, parishes and communities as they fan into a flame the faith gifts that God has given to them.
The Ember Team is aware that a parish is a living thing and everyone contributes to its life. Jesus Christ is at the heart of that wisdom and is alive in the various ways our faith shapes and celebrates who we are and how we live.
The Ember Team consists of a lay Director and a core team of Vincentians – priests and lay people. Each Team member is experienced in the work of evangelisation and mission. The Team has many years experience of working in lay formation and training. It welcomes the challenge of today’s world to facilitate and foster the collaboration of all the people of God in responding to the pastoral and spiritual needs of individuals and communities in an ever changing world.
